Beauty from the Inside Out: The Healing Properties of Bone Broth for Your Body

Bone broth benefits for hair, skin and gut

I have bone broth every day (often in its easy-to-use protein powder form) to keep my hair, skin and gut integrity beautiful. You can’t purchase real, natural beauty at the store – shiny hair, glowing skin and a gut that keeps your body aging well.

Whether you’re looking to promote healthy skin and hair, reduce inflammation, lose weight or heal your gut or joint pain, bone broth may just be the answer you’ve been searching for. So, how exactly can bone broth benefit your body? In this article, you’ll discover the healing properties of bone broth and why you should consider incorporating it into your diet – particularly if you are a highly sensitive woman. Get ready to discover a whole new world of health and wellness from the inside out!

Bone Broth is Back in Vogue

Bone broth has been used for centuries in many cultures as a traditional food and medicine. Today, bone broth is experiencing a resurgence in popularity as more and more people seek natural and holistic remedies for common health issues. So, bone broth has become a popular go-to for many health-conscious individuals, from aging women wanting to look their best to athletes looking to support joint health and recovery or those struggling with digestive issues or skin problems.

The Science Behind Bone Broth Benefits for Your Hair, Skin & Gut

Bone broth is a nutrition powerhouse packed with gelatin, collagen, essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Check out these 5 anti-aging benefits.

1) One, Bone Broth Benefits for Skin

The collagen found in bone broth is essential for healthy skin, hair, and nails. Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body and is responsible for maintaining the structure and elasticity of your skin.

Your body produces less collagen as you age, leading to wrinkles, dry skin, and brittle nails. By consuming bone broth, you can help to support healthy skin, hair, and nails.

Additionally, the vitamins and minerals found in bone broth, such as zinc and vitamin A, are important for healthy skin. These nutrients help to support the production of new skin cells and can help to reduce inflammation and acne. Fancy anti-aging skin products are so much more expensive than bone broth!

2) Two, Bone Broth Benefits for Hair

For the same reasons bone broth is a must for your skin (collagen, vitamins and minerals), it is a must for healthy hair. Incorporate bone broth into your diet for 30 days for shinier hair and increased growth.

Concentrated collagen also supports shiner hair and increased growth. Check out these collagen supplements in “From the Inside Out with Collagen”.

3) Three, Weight loss and bone broth?!

A client tells me that bone broth is the key to a healthy morning, which sets the tone for how she eats for the day. Also, another tells me how satisfying it is as a snack when craving something savory. This is because the amino acids in bone broth reduce cravings and promote fullness. Glycine, in particular, has been shown to have a calming effect on the brain, which can help to reduce stress and emotional eating.

Additionally, collagen found in bone broth can help to support healthy weight loss by promoting the growth of lean muscle mass. This makes bone broth a great addition to your weight loss program.

4) Four, Bone Broth Supports Joint Health and Reduces Inflammation

Also, collagen is essential for healthy joints and connective tissues. As you age, your body produces less collagen, leading to joint pain and stiffness. By consuming bone broth, you can help your joints function and feel better.

Also, the amino acids found in bone broth are beneficial for reducing inflammation throughout your body. Glycine, in particular, has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to reduce pain and swelling in the joints.

Concentrated collagen can also assist joint health. Check out these collagen supplements for joints in “From the Inside Out with Collagen”.

5) Five, Gut Health

Also, gelatin found in bone broth is beneficial for gut health, as it helps to soothe and heal the lining of the digestive tract. And gut health is key to your overall wellness in so many ways.

The gelatin found in bone broth is rich in amino acids such as glycine and proline, which are essential for repairing and rebuilding the lining of the digestive tract. So, this can be especially helpful for those suffering from digestive woes.

Gut Instincts: Why Highly Sensitive Women Need Bone Broth Benefits

So, how does gut health relate to highly sensitive women? Well, studies have shown a strong connection between the gut and the brain, known as the gut-brain axis. (1) This means that the health of your gut can influence our mood, behavior, and cognitive function, and vice versa.

For highly sensitive women, this connection is even more pronounced. Your heightened sensitivity means that you may be more susceptible to the effects of stress and inflammation on the gut, which can lead to a range of health issues. Additionally, your strong connection to your intuition and gut instincts means you need to prioritize your gut health to maintain your mental and emotional well-being.

Therefore, by taking care of your gut health, you can continue to trust your gut instincts and live your best lives as a highly sensitive woman.
