Midlife reinvention
During a season of divorce and midlife changes, I found myself searching for a new direction. A coach told me I needed a "comeback story" and a "new identity." The idea was uncomfortable at first, but then I began to embrace the idea of reinvention.
As a single parent balancing a million responsibilities and wanting to prioritize my children as well as nutrition and wellness, I began seeking simpler and more manageable caring and healing strategies that fit into my busy lifestyle.
My blog Feel Deeply, Gently Heal, Thrive Naturally and my cookbook, Shortcut Real Food: 20-minute meals, were born from my new situation. These creations reflect my evolution into a health coach, author, blogger, and healing yoga teacher for older women. My cookbook and I have even been featured on television, sharing practical wellness with a wider audience.
