ONCE UPON A TIME
When the challenges of a tough divorce hit amidst the craziness of perimenopause, I was looking for a way ahead. A coach told me I needed a "comeback story" and a "new identity." The idea was overwhelming at first, but then I began to embrace the idea of reinvention.
As a single parent balancing a million responsibilities and wanting to prioritize my nutrition and wellness, I began seeking simpler and more manageable self-care and healing strategies that fit into my busy lifestyle.
My blog Feel Deeply, Gently Heal, Thrive Naturally and my cookbook, Shortcut Real Food: 20-minute meals, were born from my new situation. These creations are my comeback story - they would never have happened if I hadn't been down. They are my new identity - health coach, author, blogger, and healing yoga teacher for older women. My cookbook and I have even appeared on television!
