    I am a highly sensitive peri/menopausal woman!  I am happy, healthy and thriving and want to get you there too.

    My dedication to a healthy lifestyle has brought me through challenges toward a life that I love!  I am more energetic, more joyful, and more prosperous than ever.  I can show you how to implement the same healthier habits in your life to reduce inflammation and boost every part of your health.

    I am a mom of three living in Southern Texas.  I enjoy reading, gardening and practicing yoga. 

    ONCE UPON A TIME

    I was a health enthusiast and director of my family's health.  I thought I had life under control.  Until I... didn't. 

    After a difficult divorce, I was looking for a way ahead.  A coach told me I needed a "comeback story" and a "new identity."  I didn't know what that could be.  How does one reinvent themselves?

    Under the time pressure of being a single parent and with my dedication to nutrition for my family, I sought high and low to find a new, easier way to live healthily (and a new way to care for myself under an increased level of stress).

    A bright, new way!

    Then I finally found my purpose and my direction in sharing clever solutions and the tools needed to live an inflammation reducing lifestyle.

    My cookbook, Shortcut Real Food: 20-minute meals, was born from my new situation.  Its ideas and methods were a revelation and the answer to my cooking stress.  It is now my comeback story (it would never have happened if I hadn't been down) and a new identity - health coach, author, blogger, and healing yoga teacher for older women.   My cookbook and I have even appeared on television!  

    That coach's words were the catalyst.  An expert often can see what we cannot see beyond.  Let me be the catalyst in your life.

    I live for cold weather.  I get to wear my favorite, cozy jackets.  It's a rare treat, as I live in South Texas.
